GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION VRATITZA is located at its own site of 165 000 sq.m in the industrial part of the town of Vratza at 110 km from Sofia. Six production departments, nine warehouses, five shops and an administrative building are situated. VRATITZA is one of the largest cotton textile companies in Bulgaria with a complete technological cycle: spinning, weaving, finishing & printing, sewing. HISTORY The construction of the company began in 1960. In 1963, the spinning and weaving production were completed and put into exploitation. In 1967 the finishing & printing department was started. In 1970 - 71 the enlargement of the spinning and weaving production took place. After this period different machines or group of machines have been provided and the most significant investments being made by the installment of the technological line for spindleless spinning installed in the period of 1988 - 1990 and the 24 weaving looms GTM 20-2N from Picanol, Belgium, delivered in 1998. The sewing production is equipped with modern machines installed in the period 1987 - 1992. Vratitza Ltd. is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and has Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certificate.
