The first collection of the new brand SILQ was presented this past October. In the vintage atmosphere of the store the guests of the event had a chance to check out the first models of the brand and thanks to the make-up artist Julia Alexandrova everyone was transferred into the romantic setting of the 60s.
The stylist, Iva Galabova, was at the guests’ disposal throughout the event. Many of the visitors had an opportunity to be styled and in turn they happily posed for the photographer, taking the role of retro ladies.
The idea of the new fashion brand was born when the designer Sylvia Atipova realized that the only way to have clothes she ultimately likes is to create them.
„I insist on using natural fabrics and that is something I am not eager to compromise. It turned out that is a hard endeavor. The easiest way is to find low quality materials. Firstly, I intended to buy fabrics from Italy and France only, but then I found a producer in Turkey who has really high quality production,” says the designer.
„I would like the people who I work with to enjoy what they are doing and I believe I have achieved that...,” says the creator of the new fashion brand.
