After eight years of wondering, Georgi finally decided to pop the question to his partner. Teodora is asked to become his wife while the couple was travelling. Her future husband pulled over and gave her the ring. Thereafter, follow eight months of continuous preparation so that the bride-to-be gets her dream wedding.
On September 22, 2012 Georgi and Rostislava are finally registered as family Zhechevi. The location is the Silver Lake in the village of Kolena, near the town of Stara Zagora. The wedding is a mixture between classics of the genre, plus modern and very youthful ideas. Many of the old-fashioned traditionas are left out so that there is place for innovative and fresh elements. The dress is designed by the bride herself with the help of Stara Zagora fashion house Distiva. The ritual cups are painted by the maid of honor, while the bride herself chooses and orders the fresh flowers, prepares the lucky charms used in the church. A wedding agency helps with the preparations for the entire wedding day. The newlyweds say they wanted thier wedding to be more like a party, but not a noisy one. Perhaps that is why the get in return dancing until the early morning hours. An unusual part of the whole event turns out to be the bank, which takes cares about the music. In a punk rock style and Troubadour jokes Petzi Petzito Band comes into play.
To add to this so special occasion Rostislava and Georgi want to have an unique wedding photo shoot. Initially, they had a slight dilemma in choosing a location. The bride, a typical representative of the female population, wanted to be photographed in the Royal Bistrica near Borovets because of the beautiful foliage. Georgi, as a mechanical engineer by profession, insisted to organize the photo shoot in the factory where she works – Vaptsarov, located in the town of Pleven. So that they are both happy, the photo shoot was taken in both places. The result is an original and catchy session with leading character family Zhechevi and their extremely impressive vintage wedding car.
